Mississauga’s waterfront revitalization is moving forward with more housing at Lakeview Village

Lakeview Village, a new development in Mississauga, is set to transform a former coal-burning power plant site into a sustainable community with 16,000 housing units, parks, and recreational opportunities. The City Council approved an agreement requiring a $28 million contribution for rebuilding the Lakeview Village Pier and ensuring 10% of the new units are affordable. The project aims to drive tourism, economic growth, and innovation, while also addressing community needs through various agreements and planning initiatives.
